The Reverend Nadim Nassar

Trustee The Reverend Nadim Nassar is the Director and Co-Founder of the Awareness Foundation, and co-author of the Awareness Course. Father Nadim was born and raised in Lattakia, Syria, and studied theology at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut. Through the seven years he studied Theology in the midst of the Lebanese Civil War, Nadim learned that life and faith should never be taken for granted. Because his faith was tested with fire, Nadim believes that everyone’s faith can be a great resource of comfort and joy – not only in the darkest times. After coming to the UK, he lectured in different universities in London, including the American Intercontinental University where he taught World Religions, and London Guildhall University where he developed their ‘Faith and Citizenship’ seminar. Father Nadim teaches adult formation courses and lectures in the Middle East, Europe, North America and the Far East. He frequently leads provincial, national and international conferences in the UK, US, Middle East and Hong Kong. He is a regular contributor to media around the world, including BBC TV & Radio, and CNN.
